Description

I am Dr. Natalie Caron, a licensed psychotherapist with over 14 years of clinical experience serving clients throughout Texas. While I have lived in various regions across the United States, my professional foundation and personal roots remain deeply connected to Texas. My diverse background encompasses roles as a clinician, advocate, former special education teacher, wife, and mother of two. These experiences inform my work and reinforce my commitment to honoring the shared humanity we all possess.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. I recognize that your background, culture, and lived experiences are essential to understanding your unique narrative. I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment where every aspect of your identity can be acknowledged, validated, and supported.
I practice from a non-pathologizing framework that emphasizes resilience and adaptation rather than deficit. I view symptoms and behaviors as intelligent responses to life circumstances, and I work collaboratively with clients to explore these patterns in a non-judgmental space that honors their individual pace and readiness for change.
My therapeutic orientation integrates trauma-informed psychotherapy from a humanistic perspective. My specialized training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma processing. I am in the process of becoming certified. Recently, I have been trained in Early Intervention and Ongoing Traumatic Stress, ASSYST Procedures. Additionally, I have been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed interventions , Trauma-Focused Cognitive. Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other evidence based interventions. I am a Level 2 Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist.
